| Classification | linear polybutadiene polymer with hydroxyl end groups. Due to a high concentration of olefinic double bonds and low molecular weight, Krasol® LBH 2000 is a liquid at ambient temperature. The product is immiscible in water and alcohols; however, it is miscible in non-polar organic liquids, oils, and bitumens. Krasol® LBH 2000 reacts through the double bonds along the polymer chain and through the terminal hydroxyl groups. It is particularly useful as the polyol component in polyurethane systems. |
